Buildings That Breathe, Brisbane City Council, BCC, Arkhefield, Urbis

The draft Buildings that Breathe Design Guide has been prepared by Brisbane City Council in association with Arkhefield + Urbis to provide a shared vision for subtropical building design in Brisbane’s vibrant city centre. It will complement the City Centre Neighbourhood Plan by providing an inspirational benchmark for architects, planners, developers, property professionals and the broader community.

The Queensland chapter of the Australian Institute of Architects (AIA) are hosting a free event featuring an overview of the newly released Guide, and will include two ‘Buildings that Breathe’ case studies including one presented by Shy Tay from Arkhefield, followed by a panel discussion with moderated Q&A.

Date: Thurs 25 Feb 2016
Time: 6-8pm (refreshments from 5:30pm)
Venue: AIA Queensland Chapter, 70 Merivale Street, South Brisbane
