“Once you establish your clients’ needs and understand their challenges, you end up learning a lot about their industry, how they operate and how people use their spaces, and this knowledge is invaluable for a designer.”

Kirsti’s design approach focuses on balance - of form and function, creativity and problem solving, simplicity and detail. Kirsti strives to problem solve and meet the unique needs of her clients and the people that will ultimately inhabit the space.

She predominantly works on large scale commercial sites and has led the interior design on projects including the Student One buildings, the Brisbane International Cruise Terminal, Waterfront Brisbane and Indooroopilly Shopping Centre.

Kirsti combines design thinking with thorough technical knowledge to delivery projects through all project phases. She is passionate about using design as a tool to facilitate connection between people and place to improve the way we live, work and play.

Kirsti has a Bachelor of Design Studies from Griffith University and has worked at practices throughout Brisbane. She is a member of the Design Institute of Australia and a Property Council of Australia - 500 women in property participant.
