Creating homes, buildings and public spaces that enrich people’s lives is Arkhefield associate architect Mark Walker’s design philosophy. Mark combines his design and technical skills with a client focus across residential, commercial and place making architecture.
He is passionate about residential architecture with projects including Barca Bulimba and Stockland Newport Retirement Living, as well as a number of private homes. Mark is drawn to the personal nature of residential architecture and focusses on making a site’s external environment a focal point. His love of being immersed in nature provides him with inspiration and a fresh perspective for his design work.
Mark graduated from the University College Dublin in 2008. He moved to Brisbane in 2009 where he worked at BVN Architecture before joining Arkhefield in 2014
