Sam Parsons 

Practice Director, Interior Designer


Meaningful solutions that are beautiful and functional, are at the heart of practice director Sam Parson’s approach to design.

Sam meets the needs and aspirations of her clients by designing for the whole environment, taking into account the inside and outside elements while ensuring her work is site specific and helps bring people together. Sam has an extensive background designing spaces across a broad range of industries as an interior designer and landscape architect. She has worked on the Cranbourne Botanic Gardens in Melbourne, high-end residential and workplace projects, dining precincts and she has conducted research on pedagogy and designing spaces for schools.

She has also designed functional custom furniture and joinery that have won product development grants and have been exhibited internationally. Sam joined Arkhefield for the practice’s focus on delivering social spaces that promote community connections.


She is currently working on Naldham House which is part of the Waterfront Place Precinct; as well as BrewDog in Fortitude Valley. Sam has a Bachelor of Planning and Design (Hons) from the University of Melbourne, Masters Landscape Architecture from the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Interior Design from RMIT.

She is actively involved in the design community and she develops and facilitates creative thinking workshops for children. Her passion is learning, so when she isn’t enjoying time with her family, Sam is discovering more about the industry.
