Vince Buendicho

Architectural Graduate

“Ultimately I want to make people happy. Eventually I would like to move into humanitarian architecture and give back to people that don’t have access to all the facilities that we can access.”

Growing up in the Philippines and seeing how different groups of people live, sparked architectural graduate Vince Buendicho’s desire to give back to communities through design. Humanitarian architecture is Vince’s ultimate career goal and to get there he is gaining experience working on a variety of projects at Arkhefield, including urban and master planning design work.

He values the practice’s emphasis on creating places for people as it aligns with his personal values to create spaces that are joyful for the users while meeting the needs and wants of the client. Vince loves all facets of project work, particularly the interaction between stakeholders and the opportunities these interactions provide to learn and gain new skills and knowledge.

He has a Bachelor of Architecture with a second major in Civil Engineering and a Master in Architecture from Queensland University of Technology. Outside work Vince competes in hip hop dancing.
