As the second nine storey residential building on Aspinall Street, Circa Dos consciously continues the bold precedence set by Circa One for revitalizing the suburban context.
It aspires to reinterpret the fabric of the surrounding suburb within a mid-rise, mixed use, vertical community. The resultant building contains ground level retail, a shared recreational secure courtyard and eight residential levels with a total of 102 Units.
The Circa Dos building defines the lower plaza area of the master plan to the east with a retail and entry forecourt that continues its theme into the future stage of Circa Three. The building aligns with the rail corridor boundary on the east and the eastern units face the cricket ground across the railway corridor, while the western units face the newly created civic plaza.
The retail tenancies at ground level ensure the high street atmosphere of Station Street is maintained and the orientation of units towards the street on the upper levels maximises casual surveillance. Footpath awnings and trellises create a highly articulated podium, merging with the ground plane as a landscaped element for the newly created community to enjoy.
