Making a positive contribution to communities and the public realm is important to architectural graduate Leah Hartley. She is drawn to understanding her client’s needs and translating them into well thought out, innovative ideas that become spaces that people enjoy being in.

Leah joined Arkhefield for the opportunity to work across a variety of sectors and to be part of a supportive team. She is currently working in the social and affordable housing space and is passionate about creating housing that positively impacts the lives of individuals and communities.

Leah has experience working for practices in South-East Queensland and has completed study tours in Penang and India as well as a semester abroad in Munich. She has a Bachelor of Architectural Design and a Masters in Architecture from the University of Queensland.

Outside of work, Leah likes to draw and has a strong interest in all types of art.
