Smith
Collective

The Smith Collective is a landmark precinct and represents Queensland’s largest multi-residential project ever undertaken in a single stage.

Formerly known as Parklands, the build-to-rent scheme will house approximate 2500 residents across the 7.1ha site in 1252 dwellings consisting of 3 bedroom town homes and 1 and 2 bedroom apartments.

The design by joint venture group AAA – Arkhefield, ARM and Archipelago with Lat27 – for Grocon brings together hinterland and coastline to capture the essence of the subtropical climate emblematic of the Gold Coast.

The village temporarily housed 6,500 athletes and officials at the heart of the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games and has now been converted post games into the Smith Collective community. New residents now form a part of the history of the games, living within the lush green landscape of the park. The social heart and pedestrian plaza connect the modern, vibrant, residential and business community.

Smith Collective will be home to a collective of like-minded, everyday people, from academics, students and healthcare workers engaged in the neighbouring tertiary and hospital precincts to young professionals, families and downsizing retirees searching for an active lifestyle.
