Student One on Elizabeth Street is an iconic building providing student accommodation with a vibrant retail arcade and public realm at its heart. The 901 bed facility across two towers will comprise 244 single studios and shared units, served by generous shared study zones, meeting, media and games rooms as well as an outdoor cinema lawn on the roof deck.

Arkhefield in collaboration with Arup creates a design for the new Brisbane International Cruise Terminal that is focused on the efficient movement of passengers from kerbside to ship, with an emphasis on positive customer experiences during both embarkation and disembarkation.

The Student One on Wharf Street tower is one of three in the heart of the Brisbane CBD which offer premium student accommodation geared for learning. Capturing 753 rooms over 40 levels the design responds to the brief for a tower that was safe and secure, compact, robust, fun and collaborative.

The Kurrawa Surf Live Saving Club sits at the heart of the Gold Coast community and typifies the balance between the building’s dual civic and recreational functions as a place where the city meets the beach. The Arkhefield design realises the brief for bold and visionary architecture while maintaining references to its functional use as a local Surf Life Saving Club.

In a commanding location on the Yeppoon foreshore, the new Keppel Bay sailing club replaces the dated existing building with improved sailing club facilities along with a new conference and hospitality venue.

Partnering together - Live Nation, Secret Sounds, John Collins and Scott Hutchinson – recognised Brisbane’s music scene had limited access to mid-size venues, meaning bands would have to travel interstate to gain the exposure they needed to launch their careers. And so Fortitude Music Hall was born.

Brewdog sits in a prime position in the vibrant Fortitude Valley Entertainment precinct. The building dates back to 1928 and has a rich and colourful past which provided a perfect shell to infuse Brewdog’s unique spirit.

The Smith Collective is a landmark precinct and represents Queensland’s largest multi-residential project ever undertaken in a single stage. The master plan design by joint venture group AAA – Arkhefield, ARM and Archipelago with Lat27 – for Grocon brings together hinterland and coastline to capture the essence of the subtropical climate emblematic of the Gold Coast.

Working with Kinstone and the broader project team Arkhefield designed and delivered the strategic masterplan and branding for Rochedale Terrace which establishes a strong vision and identity for the project moving forward.
