From the big picture to the detailed design phase, Arkhefield practice director Anne Sulinski takes a collaborative and hands-on approach to the creative process. Anne’s design approach is place-responsive interwoven with evocative landscape narratives, with results that people enjoy and remember.
Anne’s expertise lies with a unique marriage of creative conceptual design, coupled with high level of project management and technical documentation skills that carry her projects from concept through to documentation and delivery phases. Having worked across all facets of the design industry on projects ranging from public housing, apartments, commercial, hospitality, sports and heritage buildings, Anne’s focus is now on leading teams on large scale, mixed use projects which enhance the public realm.
From leading the design and delivery of the award-winning River Quay project at South Bank, and the Kurrawa Surf Life Saving Club on the Gold Coast, Anne now heads Arkhefield’s team for the Waterfront Brisbane project in Brisbane City.
She is passionate about sustainable and timeless architecture which embraces the challenges of our rapidly changing world in beautiful and creative ways. Outside of the studio, Anne’s interest in the natural environment extends to propagation and planting for rainforest regeneration, bushwalking and camping.
