Kurrawa Surf Life Saving Club
The Kurrawa Surf Live Saving Club sits at the heart of the Gold Coast community and typifies the balance between the building’s dual civic and recreational functions as a place where the city meets the beach. The River Quay Master Plan opens an underutilised area of the South Bank Parklands to provide a first class dining precinct and public realm that embraces the sub-tropical lifestyle. Arkhefield's vision was to create a place that relates strongly to the river, exploring unique models for subtropical retail dining experiences anchored by the revitalised publicly accessible river edge.
